Metal Material Recycling Rules
Fortune Global Resource follows all state sanctioned laws when purchasing any and all metals. Listed below are rules and guidelines as to what FGR can/will buy. Also listed are the general rules that MUST be followed while on the property at FGR. If you have any questions that the website does not answer as to the rules of what can be bought or rules of the yard please feel free to ask a FGR employee at the front office or at the scale house.

A valid form of photo ID must be presented to the scalehouse employee at the time of each and every purchase.

ALL METALS MUST BE SEPARATED BEFORE ARRIVING TO THE YARD. If not separated before arrival you will be asked to leave and come back once it is separated.

Any Items wanted off of a vehicle that is being sold is to be removed before arriving at the yard. If the items are not removed (wheels, rims, tires, motor parts, ect.) you will be asked to leave until they are removed.

Failure to follow any of these rules may and can result in you being asked to leave the yard for the day or permanently.

No customers are to enter the scalehouse or the warehouse at any time unless asked to come into the buildings by a FGR employee.

FGR will not be held responsible for any damages to any vehicles or trailers upon unloading.

All customers are to remain in vehicles until instructed to exit vehicles.

Things to Know Before You Visit Fortune Global Resource
Other material we do not accept include:
- Burnt Copper - UNLESS (O.C.G.A 10-1-351) you are a licensed contractor who at the time of the purchase transaction either provides a copy of the contractor’s valid license (license must be scanned or photocopied) or has the scanned or photocopied license on file. OR a sell who at the time of the purchase transaction has a copy of a police report showing that seller’s property was involved in a fire (which report must be scanned or photocopied) OR Another Secondary Metals Recycler who at the time of the purchase transaction provides the documentation required in paragraphs 1 and 2 above which is received from a Licensed Contractor or seller.
- RV's and Campers - Unless called and arranged ahead of time of sale.
- Mobile homes - Unless called and arranged ahead of time of sale.

If paperwork is not complete OR correct, NO check will be issued. In order to get the 'CAR PRICE,' your vehicle MUST have:
- Motor
- Transmission
- A hole in the gas tank
If these requirements are not met, you will get Mixed Steel Rates and not Car Rates.

Any individual (persons not with a company whose documents are on file) bringing in vehicles to scrap MUST report to the front office to complete paperwork before checking in at the scale-house.

No vehicles will be unloaded until the paperwork is complete.

ANY and ALL vehicles sold to FGR MUST have a hole in the gas tank OR gas tank removed.

Any vehicle without a hole in the gas tank will be 'downgraded' in price.

All holes must be placed in the gas tank prior to coming on the property.

Due to safety reasons, vehicles cannot be 'prepped' on the premises.
